Sarah Butler and Jodelle Ferland
Washington Butler was born in Puyallup Washington, was always attracted by the arts. She sang in choruses, took part in singing competitions and performed in both schools and the local theater. She then moved into Los Angeles and studied theatre at the University of Southern California. For a year and an half, she portrayed Belle the Princess in Beauty and the Beast. She dropped out of college focused on finding an agent to represent her talents and then began casting for roles in TV and in film. Butler appeared as a guest star on The TV show CSI: Miami. That year she played the role of a woman in Don Stark's web-series Luke 11-17. Butler played the lead role on I Spit on Your Grave (2010) The film is a remake 1978 cult movie of exactly the same name. While initially dissuaded by the film's nakedness as well as the brutality, its strong female edge and character storyline convinced her to perform the character. Butler starred in Jennifer Hills as a novelist brutally assaulted by a gang in a cabin traveling. Steven R. Monroe helmed The film it was released on the 8 October, 2010. Butler started filming The Stranger Within (a psychological thriller) in Mallorca, Spain, with Estella Ward as well as William Baldwin back in November 2011. Ferland was only four years old years old when she first made her TV and movie debut in Mermaid. Ferland received an Emmy Award in the Made-for-TV Film, which made her the youngest actress ever to receive the Emmy Award. Ferland has since appeared in numerous films and television shows like Stargate SG-1 Supernatural Smallville, Trapped Them and Tideland. Ferland made her debut on the film horror Silent Hill. A year later, she landed the role as a character in Good Luck Chuck along with Jessica Alba. Ferland appeared as Bree Tanner in Eclipse the third installment in the Twilight series. Ferland has, on top of her Emmy nominations she's received throughout her career, has received nearly fifty other awards. They include the Young Artist Award and a CAMIE Award.
